Hey guys!
I'm not sure what the case status is on my police action is. The cops and a finger print crew did come to my place. One glaring note, the finger print guy was an old geezer, nobody nearly as sexy as those on CSI: Vegas, Miami, NY.
Basically the entry into the apt was kicking down the door. They stole my brand new flat screen hd tv, my x-box 360, my ipod, my imac, my digital camera, my portable dvd player, jewelry and a even a bowl of change and my collection of two dollar bills.
Thankfully no statues/busts were hurt during the raiding of my apt. They also didn't take my movies. I did, however, lose all my pics/music on my computer, which I can't replace.
I can't easily replace anything I lost. I'm still paying off that tv, don't have renters insurance (doh!), and the x-box, ipod, and camera are all luxury items I can't afford (thankfully all those were paid off). A friend is helping me get a computer, so I should at least be good there soon enough.
I am leaving my apartment after this weekend. I no longer feel safe there (especially as this isn't the first thefts in the past month). I'm also afraid the punks will come back if I replenish, especially knowing I get nice stuff. One of my friends is room-mate less at the moment, so I'm taking him up and becoming his roommate for the time being.
