That actually sounds interesting, and I like that poster. The commentary from badassdigest is right on target.
Though I have to say, I find it interesting that Disney continues to mine public domain material while so vigorously defending their own older material from becoming public domain. I would expect nothing less from a business, but it is a funny dichotomy.

Agreed. Money and power rule, and it's sickening...
As for the movie, I think it sounds like one I will want to see, so I hope it's a good one...

Looks pretty cool. Could be a great flick for the family. Disney has always been a shrewd company when it comes to raiding the public domain. Most of their biggest hits have been classic unprotected fairy tales, repackaging of classic literature or historical events, and the occasional out and out ripoff like The Lion King featuring Kimba... I mean Simba. But more money for the house of D means bigger budgets for Marvel movies.
