They could have gone a lot further with exaggerating his ribcage. Check out Mike Katz in this semi-relaxed shot. Look at the chin in relation to the edge of the ribs.

I like how this Sabertooth looks arrogant and wild. He is posed to literally look like he is throwing his weight around. There is nothing wrong with the anatomy. You may not like it and that is fine. I also think XM's Sabertooth is extremely well done, I think the portrait is especially nice. But the XM pose doesn't show off his size or have near the presence as the SS one, IMO.

I am only arguing anatomy, not personal taste.

Thanks

I'd go further and ask to see something he's sculpted or created

Martin is a master sculptor & not ANYONE here commenting is on his level (unless by another sculptor from sideshow) the dude does insanely detailed & beautiful work & I understand everyone is entitled to their own opinion, yet to bash this piece is beyond ridiculous & silly to me! If ya don’t like it “don’t get it” the end.

The obliques showing the way they do through his clothing is impossible.

But so is a 6 foot 6 inch mutant man with fangs and claws.

But it isn't even that. There are plenty of statues out there with bad anatomy and one does not need to be a sculptor to recognize or point it out. But to broadly state that this anatomy is all kinds of wrong without explaining why is ridiculous and makes him look like nothing more than a hater who will call me an SS fanboy for disagreeing with him.

Ya, its all personal preference, and SS Sabertooth when you look closer does have way more details, i just prefer the look of the XM pose.
