Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

1/8 Scale Darth Vader - Star Wars Collectors Gallery Statue

Anakin Skywalker was a great Jedi Knight who fought for the Republic before the Dark Times. His descent into darkness was brought on by the evil Darth Sidious who would go on to convert Skywalker over to the Dark Side. When that happened, Darth Sidious crowned himself Emperor and named Skywalker “Darth Vader, Lord of the Sith”. Sculpted by Gentle Giant’s master artisans, this Darth Vader statue recreates the scene from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back of Lord Vader bowing in devotion to his master, Emperor Palpatine. Each limited edition, hand-painted piece is cast in high quality polyresin with crisp details. This statue also comes individually numbered with a matching certificate of authenticity. This Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back Darth Vader Collectors Gallery statue will be the first figure in our new series of 1:8 scaled statues, celebrating the last 36 years of the Star Wars universe.

So they're re-releasing a decade old statue sans light-up feature? Nice piece but I'm not a fan of the practice. IIRC the original piece was also 1:6 scale.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

As small as it is, I'd still love to see some in-hand pics of this, but people are too damn private when it comes to GG stuff. I'm sure a lot of people have it by now too. I always post pictures of every GG piece I get in order to try and get it out to everyone, but you can't tell me that no one has the capability to snap a quick pic, either with a cell phone (which even 80 year olds have nowadays), or a good non-phone camera and post it here.

Rebelscum is even worse. The GG board for that forum is so awful. I thought I'd join that forum to get some good info and pictures, but its as dead as Death Valley over there. Wasted membership...like literally one new post every seven days.
