Fallout 3

Anyone buying this? It's getting great reviews, which comes as no surprise.

I don't play games much these days (consoles especially), but I see myself putting some serious time into this baby. I LOVED the Fallout series when it came out on the PC.. played 1 to death, scratched the surface of 2, and made sweet sweet love to Tactics several times (ie I played through it at least twice, for different endings/etc).

Anywho... buyin' it today, playin' it (probably) tonight at my sister/bro-in-law's (he's interested in it also), then takin' it home to Oregon to load up on my own 360. Can't wait.

Sooo.. anyone else buy this, that wants to give their two cents?

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I've been looking forward to this one also, read some of the reviews from the big sites this morning, they all seem to be positive.
Looks like a great world to get lost in, heard the PS3 had some serious technical problems with it though.

I own both systems so don't pounce on me for putting Sony down...

Probably give it a rental first ( my new rule )

I got a message from the store that I could go pickup my preorder but lack of time and money made me hold it off... First I have to make sure I can buy Gears2, everything else comes second.

I'm picking mine up after work. Between this game and Dead Space and Far Cry 2 and Saints Row 2 I may have to give up working. Looks stunning, but no reviews from consumers yet.

You can play the whole game with the third person view.

This game is un-freakin-real. I'm about 6 hours in and it's been amazing. It's basically Elder Scrolls Oblivion with guns and a nuclear holocaust setting. Graphics are fantastic and the combat's very well done. Very creepy atmosphere I should add. Didn't expect that, but it's really damn creepy at times. Everybody should try this one out.

It looks cool. I can't believe the big stink being raised with the ads in DC subways.
