Wow, I'm not really much of a He-Man collector, but this thing is so incredibly epic that I'm very tempted to order anyway.

I was in high school when the preview to the He-Man comic was included in some DC books one month and the tv series launched.

It never held any appeal to me as it looked like a very silly property (He's a real HE-Man!") that was being pitched to a sub-tween audience.
So it's never been something I've had any nostalgia for, whatsoever.

That said, all these MoTU Tweeterhead statues look spectacular to me. I'm a little envious of the generation that did grow up with this property, as everything produced so far has been a visual knock-out.
Just enough detail and polish to enhance the original, simple, iconography, but not enough to overwhelm it.
None of these looks like some actor cosplaying. They all look as if the cartoon animators were suddenly given a $100 mil. budget and trained in 3D modeling.

The creative powers at TH clearly have a lot of love for this property and it shows.

That print is amazing. Never seen it before.

It looks just like this statue.

So well said. Exactly what I was thinking but you said it perfectly for me.

Yep it's stunning, it sold out quick when Sideshow had it up a few years ago.

Here's a Hi rez version so you can see all the other background characters a bit better -

Alex Ross is one of the best. The only thing I would change in this artwork is I would?ve drawn Skeletor in a neutral/ready/offensive position. Not a total defensive position.

There are so many cool characters is the MOTU Universe. Such great designs. But after looking at this and the other famous poster with armies on the two side, the best characters - the only two that I would be interested in owning and spending money on are Heman on Battlecat and Skeletor on Panthor.

Thanks for your input.
Basically so far how many 1:6 vintage statues they made ? I only see the 1/5 with 200X style right ?

No worries. I'll just wait to see if changes are made or not to the base. Shouldn't matter unless the change makes the base ugly. And I doubt that's going to happen.
