Agree and agree.
My girlfriend got me a Bishoujo several months ago, which was my first PVC statue, and the look and feel just doesn't do it for me. PVC has this subtle sheen to it that I just don't like. People who say you can't see the difference between PVC and polystone are out to lunch.

I like the smooth quality and detail in pvc pieces. Love bishoujos. Koto has achieved quite a few finishes on their bishoujos. They have done just about all finishes ranging from super matte to high gloss. I think they mix up their finishes quite a bit more than other companies.

It'd probably be more like ArtFX+ but these look more detailed than both.

Aren't bishoujos 9 inches tall?
I am confused.
Have you guys seen the horror bishoujos? They are extremely detailed.
I hope these pieces are comparable.
If these end up looking like blobby Gumby figures.....no.

I have seen them and they don't hold a candle to these that they've shown.

I like Scissorhands. Almost bought it a couple of times.
The price is right on those things.

The horror bishoujos don't compare to the prestige statues?

They are getting high priced too. But what I like about them, is that I can wait a couple months for them to drop in price. I can get them for about $35 shipped.
I think they are progressing well. The Thor and Loki pieces are great. PVC gets a bad rep due to past pieces by other companies. I think companies are more aware of its issues now. Look at Yamato DC pieces, their new PVC editions look pretty close to the statues.

They're a totally different art style, so it's apples to oranges IMO.

Yes, but we're comparing the amount of detail in each statue. So apples to oranges or not, one line definitely has more detail in it.
