Display case for Tweeterheads

Apologies if there is already a thread for this, but as I near completion of my basement rec room renovations, I'm thinking about how I'm going to display all my Tweeterheads. These suckers are tall and heavy but I'd like to put them in a glass display case of some kind. Anybody find something that did the trick. Nothing I see at IKEA really seems appropriate.

Even the Super Powers maquettes? After reading the specs on IKEA's website I thought the majority would be too heavy for the 9lb load per shelf.

Maple if you can get custom-made I would say do custom just because you can always use a good set of shelving even if you do not continue collecting statues years from now

The two sets of shelves that I have my statues displayed on a friend of mine made and they’re just simple square shelves but they’re on casters so they are not attached to the wall and the chances of these collapsing are very very minimal

Moducase makes a 1:6 display case, the clearance dimensions in the case are L20.47” D16.93″ H17.32″ and it comes with LED lights already built in plus it's air tight so no dust. The only issue would be for statues like Darkseid which is 20" tall but I think the majority of TH statues would fit inside, just depends on which ones you were collecting. If you were getting Darkseid they do make a module that attaches that is L20.47” D16.93″ H36.61″

EDIT: I just measured some of TH status and Supergirl and Martian Manhunter are both almost 18" tall due to their poses and Superman with his tall base is 17.75" tall... but all the 66' Batman statues would fit no problem

The taller case does come with an option shelf so you could put Darkseid on the bottom and some smaller TH statues above him.

There not to bad the smaller case is $180 and the taller one is $250 plus if you buy two or more the price drops to $220 for the bigger one and $150 for the smaller ones

Besta's are cheap but the price does go up if you want glass doors and lighting...

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

That looks very nice. Clean, well displayed. Aiming for something like that myself.
