I do like the Sub Mariner alot but sometime I do not think that Marvel knows how write him sometimes. To me sometimes the way he is portrayed is very out of character.
I have to say, I do like the animosity between him and the Black Panther which actually harkens all the way back to the early 80's in the first Defenders comic.
I’m trying to tell a story between my statues and how they connect so it’s ok if people don’t like Namor or Blk Panther. They are enemies and these two statues are works of art. Can’t wait to show off pics. Delivery should be today for BP!

Alright so Namor will be unboxed in morning so I’ll focus on King T’Challa for now. My thoughts on XM Black Panther
It’s an amazing statue. One of the best I’ve seen in hand. It has presence and movement and I’m blown away at the quality of the sculpt. The subtle use of blue to break the costume up and the use of leather and metal to bring out the really high end quality of this piece. Both portraits are perfection .
I think I could have done without huge totem in the back but I get it. These large bases although not very popular with collectors allow for amazing dynamic poses of our fav characters. I added some jungle vegetation to break up the monotone stone colour in background I think it’s perfect. Pic heavy enjoy!
And the pieces will look great near each other!
