$499 unless they cut back most of the DVR functions. the longer it's delayed the cheaper it'll be, so it might be worth waiting. and there is already word that the japanese march date is already impossible. even at winter '06, things will be just as bad, if not worse than the 360 fiasco.

Has it been stated yet that it won't be released in Spring for sure? Even if it hasn't been said I know they won't make that date. I say Feb 2007.

But 'how much are you willing to pay?' is the important question. I would think sony know that they won`t be able to go much above $400 without seriously effecting sales. But one thing is for sure, whenever it does come out the xbox360 will have a big lead on hardware sales. And also microsoft will be in a strong position to drop the price of the 360 as soon as the PS3 is released.
