Mine has some of that issue as well. If they're replacing just the base I'll go for it. My bust itself is in pretty good condition.

This isn't a company that has lots of replacements around, I would be surprised if they gave replacements for this issue to be honest , unless you have other issues too. I'm curious what they'll say.

To their credit, they have offered full replacement. Now that is what I call a class act. They are busy with SDCC so be patient.

I have found a possible solution to the base problem. If you let it set out in direct sunlight, it will eventually 'de-gas' and the patterns will go away. I've done it on my Vader helmet and on this and both worked so if you don't want to return the whole shindig, it's worth a shot. I estimate I let it set for an hour before all patterns disappeared.

Not sure if this is the place for this but just for reference, i recently acquired a Lisker Mask made from the original movie molds, just to show what an ECC version might look like if they get around to making one.
