To quote J., "I had some issues with Roms base, if you had seen it you probably would have been ok with it or not noticed at all but it bugs the hell out of me so I started to fix it. So no updates to him yet." I have some nice WIP pics he sent me earlier this week.
He been working on Ice some. The mold of her head was messed up and he's going to have to sculpt some on her neck too. He suggested the metallic blue on the alien from the Space Girl kit he did, but it's a little too dark, so I asked if he has a lighter metallic blue for her. Fire is primed as well.

i always hear that 80s song, "Fire and Ice," when you talk about these. it's fun to have a soundtrack.

I'm curious as to how much these are costing you and Doug.

He's really very reasonable. From what I can determine, his prices are about half of what other, more accredited artists are charging. But, I think he also charges on a sliding scale, depending on what you want.

Newsweek has a good article about gay senior citizens. While it's not something I'll have to deal with for awhile yet, it does speak to some of the concerns I have about growing older. Thought I would share the link with y'all.

Saw it.
I've no basis to know that's a good deal, but I'll take you and Doug's word for it.

ACK!
So, yesterday, there was an odd noise over by my desk, which sounded like books falling. Since I have a number of books stacked up under the desk, I didn't think anything about it.
When I finally got around to investigating it last night (okay, I'm lazy, I admit it), I discovered that our Bowen Rawhide Kid statue had taken a nose dive. His hat brim is snapped off, and his gun is bent all to hell. Now we have to replace it, which sucks A LOT.
Still can't figure out how it happened, though.
