Anyone else watch the first two episodes. Very good start with some shocking scenes.

I think it's terrible so far...very boring. The writing of Carrie and the boy's relationship was almost enough to get me to stop watching it. It did pick up last episode but it's been a VERY slow season.

Yikes. What the heck happened to the finale. This season went from being incredible to completely ending with a whimper.

With such incredible back to back episodes with so much trauma for the characters, I think ending on a low key was just fine and in fact was needed. It was still a good cliffhanger considering the unknown outcome for the character now.

I really enjoyed this season but the second last episode would have been a better finale.

Actor James Rebhorn who played Carrie's Dad passed away earlier this year. So it's possible they decided to give him a good farewell by having the episode being little more focused on him.

Also the story of his passing was likely already in planning, they just waited until the end to implement it.
