Galactus vs. Mephisto?
We know Mephisto's an enemy of The Silver Surfer and has overpowered him before, even when The Surfer ultimately wins. But how would he do against Galactus?

Isn't Mephisto an "Earthbound" deity, while Galactus is a Cosmic Absolute, of sorts?
I'd say Galactus overpowers Mephisto; if not immediately, eventually.

I'd equate Mephisto's power level to that of a Skyfather of a pantheon of gods such as Odin or Zeus.
While more powerful than say Thor or the Silver Surfer, I can't see Mephisto ever beating a fully powered Galactus.

They have fought before in Mephisto's realm, Galactus wanted his heralds back and Mephisto refused, it was even until Galactus started to absorb realm.
Mephisto realized what was happening, knew his realm was in jeopardy and released the heralds (Nova & Silver Surfer I believe).

This battle has already taken place and Mephisto was on the losing end. Galactus may win a fight but he can't keep Mephisto from reforming and coming back.
