New Iron Fist & Deadly Hands of Kung Fu Comics
Okay, we have a new Iron Fist: The Living Weapon book by Kaare Andrews and Anne Deadly Hands of Kung Fu by Mike Benson and Tan Eng Huat.
I'm really digging Andrews' take on Iron Fist but, while Benson's script has plenty of intrigue, Huat's art on DHOKF just is too loose and cartoony to be properly serviceable.
But fans of Marvel's '70s Kung Fu comics and magazines: discuss!

For gosh' sakes, all I know is I really want either Andrews or Bensen to have their two main characters fight. It would be fun & not seen in a long time. One would think w/ the two new launches coinciding, this would be in the cards.

I recall a Master of Kung Fu annual where these two teamed up (remember they were trapped together in a dungeon or something and Shang-Chi was bothered by how much Danny ran his mouth).
Will have to look this up....

That's Awesome! & now on my "must get" list. Another thing I missed on this new launch of a Shang-Chi book were his signature red Kung-Fu outfit. I know he hasn't been wearing it for a while, but it would have been great to see an updated version.

Man, that Earl Norem cover is sweet!
Have you guys read the Iron Fist stories by Brubaker, Fraction, et al? How do they rate, and do other martial arts characters of the MU appear in them?

Honestly, I started to buy it and couldn't keep it up. Just didn't hold my interest.

Great out the gate ... but then they got all muddy & bogged down w/ subplot/characters & after a couple issues, I couldn't tell what the hell was goin' on & gave up.
