The Purple Man's ability to have anyone do whatever he asks them to do, no matter how against their character, is a pretty cool power. Not sure if it would work for a good guy. This has to be an evil power.

I don't know if it's ever been done but the ability to always say the right thing would be cool.
The other half is pissed off at you for some reason - you say the right thing and everything's good.
All of your shopping has just been put through the till and you realise that you've left your wallet at home - you say the right thing and still walk out with all your stuff.
The Hulk is about to smash you in the face - you say the right thing and are sharing a beer with Banner before you know it...
I'm not talking about power of persuasion or hypnosis or anything (so not like Purple Man), you just genuinely know what the right thing to say is to make the situation turn out right for everyone.

he's not a comic character but Guldo from Dragonball had a cool ability, whenever he'd hold his breath time would freeze for everything but him
