Comments on the KS page make it seems like 100 dollars for a 3 inch tall figure is industry standard. I remember visiting Games Workshop in the mall when I was a kid and not being able to afford much. Recently hit one of their shops in London and as an adult I can now afford it but could never justify the prices. But I stopped buying minis when anything but metal was considered garbage. And I recall the justification for high prices was the metal, yet the shift to resin has done nothing to bring prices back to earth

Hey Wombat,
Congrats on this piece. I have been pining for a SS piece myself since finding the thread about them on the CGC boards but man I cannot compute the pricing on these. I get that no more will be made but for the type of money these are selling for people could buy an actual prelim sketch. Heck I can buy a painted DD5 prelim piece for around 12k, which is like 2-3 of the SS pieces depending on which ones you are after. It just goes to show that CGC creates new brands/markets and that sometimes there is not crossover between collectibles even under the same artist's umbrella.

I wish they were cheaper. But I was happy to get it at the price I got it.

Did the second sig on this add much value? Or is most of the value, in your opinion, in the Frazetta sig?

I don't think it added anything. To be honest I wish it wasn't there.

It looks like a pretty good 7.0 though. I can't see any dog eared corners.

I passed on the ARH DD III as I have never really loved the "show a little leg" DD and given size and cost of the line I just decided to pass. Seeing Shedman's in person I was kind of regretting it, but still don't know if I wanted a big one.

Yay for me Dark Horse is coming out with a 1/7 scale version that looks great. It is exactly the same scale as CS Moore Barbarian and selling for $130. It is supposed to come out in May

Not bad, especially given the price tag.
