Identity crisis was first (2004). Infinite Crisis was published a year after.

You should read Crisis on Infinite Earths (from 1985) before reading these.

Thanks. Good to know. Cuz I just got that one too when George Perez was at Wizard World LA more than 10 years ago. Time to dust off my comic book cartons

I just finished watching the pilot and I loved every minute of it. I cannot say the same thing about Gotham. This is going to be my favorite series of the season for sure.

Casting is pretty good, although I'm not sure I'm liking the actress that plays Iris West. She's a bit annoying..
I'm hoping for Arrow they can turn it around, season 1 was really good but season 2 not so much... I also hope this season they don't rely so heavily on stage sets, makes the production feel really cheap.

Interesting point about your comparison to Smallville's take that Kryptonite created all of the super powers, and now they're doing the same thing with the Speed Force on the Flash. I think the creators of the two shows feel that it simplifies things and makes it's easier to explain all of the strange phenomenon, and super powered beings if they give them all the same origin. The flip side is that it kind of dumbs things down a bit for those of us who are used to all of the various and intricate origins of all our favorite comic book characters. But, as has been pointed out many times on these boards before, these shows are not created for comic book fans. They're created for the general public.
Anyway, as for the new Flash series, I loved it! It was enjoyable, and I'm looking forward to the whole season!!!

Amazing pilot...quite possibly even better than Arrow's. DC looks like it'll easily have the best 1-2 punch in comic shows.
If only Gotham could have been made by these creators...we'd have been in for a real treat.

This is a great time to be a fanboy. Gotham, Arrow, Flash, Walking Dead, etc. So many great shows to watch.

Maybe for you, but Gotham after 3 episodes is still going strong in the ratings... Already rumors of a early renewal for season 2.
Personally Gotham is in my top 5 shows atm...
Walking Dead
Game of Thrones
Shameless
Person of Interest
Gotham
Top 10 would be:
Flash
Arrow
Star Wars Rebels
The 100
Falling Skies

Because we all know that ratings = quality...
It's cool to like comics right now so all shows will do well in the ratings war.
Gotham has promise but personally I don't see how you can rate it higher than Flash and Arrow. Gotham right now seems like it's struggling trying to figure out what it wants to be. Characters are all over the place and only Penguin and Bullock are the bright lights in a struggling cast. Fish is decent but I'm not watching a Bat-esque show for Fish
