Computer art... or art computer?
Nothing special, but here's what happen when you mix boredom and a dremel tool. First time trying to etch anything, and it's fairly strenuous on the hand, but I'm happy with the results. Maybe someday I'll be bored again and finish it.

You may be onto something: "Hard-drive art by Spacial.Archite! Secure your commission today!"
But serious, that's a pretty cool etching.

Right now I'm in the process of cutting a window to mimic a city skyline in the background. I'm going to put some plexi behind the cut out and "frost" some windows into the tower. When I run the leds directly under the plexi the frosted sections should reflect the light creating (what I hope) will be a very nice effect.
I really just decided to practice and do something with my computer 'cause I intend on building a new one at some point in the near future.

That's really cool! You can take it a step further and use an airbrush to paint areas like the gargoyle and Spidey's eyes. They make acrylic paints that bond with metals...

Do you just gave me an idea. Wonder if it is possible to sculpt something and make it appear as part of the computer case or coming out of it. Hmmm fiberglass is an option but I wonder if there is an easier was. Could always make a wall mount sculpture and bolt it on. Great etching by the way.

Stop Your Grinning and Drop Your Linen. Here is a computer Mod that takes it to a completely different level. It started in 2005, and final pictures where posted just a few months ago. One will be hard pressed to find another like it with computer screen built in (A Small Screen). I will also add the link to where he goes over each step in a Mod Forum.
