JAMES BOND NEEDS YOU - FANS TO DECIDE 007'S BEST MOVIE POSTER EVER
JAMES BOND NEEDS YOU
Quote:
VOTE FOR YOUR FAVOURITE 007 MOVIE POSTER EVER
In the UK the Royal Mail are marking the 50th anniversary of the James Bond series with a very special limited edition commemorative sheet, featuring ten iconic Bond movie poster labels alongside ten, first class, Union Flag postage stamps. With 22 movies to choose from however, the task of deciding exactly which of the iconic Bond images will make it into the pack is fiendishly difficult. Which is where you come in because the final ten posters will be chosen not by Royal Mail, but by you, Bond’s most loyal fans. Every Bond movie poster from the last 50 years is available HERE to view allowing you the once in a lifetime opportunity to decide which of your favourite ten will be immortalised in this special edition.

Already voted last week. They don't have the full selection of posters but maybe votes for the classic posters will get us something similar for Skyfall.

From Russia With Love is easily my favorite poster. While I do think the Casino Royale poster is among the better designed posters, I can't believe it's sitting at number 1 right now.

I like that one too. Probably my third favorite behind For Your Eyes Only and The Living Daylights which just happen to be two of my favorite Bond entries.

I would have to say that From Russia With Love is probably my favorite out of all of those, but oddly enough I really like the Moonraker one quite a bit. I always have, and I don't even like that movie much, it's actually one of my least favorite Bond films. This poster stands out as different than most of the others. If you look at the others, they're all very similar, plain background with all the components cut out and pasted on there. I am not criticizing them, the Bond posters have a style all their own that's been copied by everyone, and I've always been a fan of them as well as the movies themselves. The Moonraker one seems more cohesive, just a bit different, if that makes any sense. The main problem I have with these choices is that they're very limited. There were usually many different versions of the posters released worldwide, I know they had to limit it, but I wouldn't say they necessarily chose the best versions.

Tough choice, but I've always liked Moonraker.

My favorite Bond has always been Sean Connery but my FAVORITE poster is "For Your Eyes Only".

I agree about Moonraker being a nice poster. Its easily my least favorite Bond film though so its hard to appreciate the collage of visuals on it without embracing the silly concepts behind them.

I just hope that I can get a set of these stamps and not pay a ton for them.
