not according to the lore, Liu won the first 2 tournaments. he was the chosen champion and was supposed to be their Ryu, Scorp and Sub were just much more interesting characters and exploded in popularity.

Next figures.... Sub zero, best design ever... I hope sub zero coming with led light mask,this two guys Scorpion and sub Zero absolutely must have!!!!!!

It's pretty well knownt hat Ed Boon hates Liu Kang lol, it's just they have to put him in....and the to be honest in MKX he was cooler than ever, and the whole thing of him becoming the evil lord of outworld just makes me salivate for MK11.
But Liu Kang as a statue, nope not interested.
I am crying out for Ermac here, he should have been done in the MK9 line and it'll be madness if we don't get him this time, so many cool poses, light ups and EX possibilities my mind runs wild!
Tremor.....eh wasn't super impressed with him or his design to be honest, a statue could look super cool but i'd have to be convinced and i'd need him mask on.
Still hoping for Cassie, Erron Black, Takeda, Kung Lao, Raiden, Kenshi, Dvorrah, Ferra Tor etc....

Will this be as ridiculously hard to PO as their 1/3 statues?
And as much as I like the game, I actually prefer the comic run. And Scorpion is a straight ass-kicker in them.
