She could only glide on the air current with her glider wings. Now she is not in costume and she can take off.

In the Spider-Woman (JJJ's niece) series a few years back I believe Jessica was able to fly in that book and she never wore any kind of costume. I'm to lazy to pull my old issues of Spider-Woman out so I'm sure you are more up to date on her previous status than I. Her powers must have changed after she died and came back.

Not only can she fly rather than glide (I think this is new, too!) but Carnage is a vampiric symbiot living off the energy of others and Count Nefaria can project some kind of force beam from his hands!
Carnage never had this ability. Bendis made Carnage this way in the Ultimate Universe but this is new in the Mavel Universe. Nefaria had super strength, invulnerability, flight and some kind of eye beams, but I don't believe he could project energy from his hands.
Weird liberties being taken here.

Are you at all surprised that Bendis is ruining everything? Honestly... thats why I am staying far far away from this title. Shame, because David Finch is one of my favorite contemporary artists... that guy can draw!
