Well after picking up a copy of Pop Sculptor I decided to go with the Giles waxer. I did not get the other tips just the standred issue,
cost with shipping 182.00. I like to use Castilline and Adam Beane's new wax, so figured this may be a bit better than burning through 15.00 a month for alcohol.

I was wondering if I could build the controls and the pen for the waxer and buy some of Giles' wax tips. Buying the whole set is too costly for me. I just don't know how those tips work and therefore I don't know how to build the pen and its control circuit. Can anyone suggest some plan?

Walmart has a hobby soldering iron type pen with diff tips. it is around 8-10 bucks.
