Hey there SKS,

What I normally explain to beginning painters to understand shading and shadows is to hold a assembled sculpture under a lamp (with the light over the piece shining downwards). This helps to show where natural shadows would/should lay when painting them in. I hope that helps.

yeah man, if I had a sign that said "DANNO IS MY IDOL", I'd be holding it up right now... amazing what happens when a great sculpt gets great paint. again you have done nothing short of amaze me...where can I get some of that chrome paint?
