pyro Travis Charest X-Men

finally found a supplier of specialty wood (at least here in the Philippines). this is done on 1/8 inch maple wood. unfortunately, wood this thin doesn't lay down flat.

doing travis is very difficult as he has fine lines that are difficult to translate to in terms of shading. what i love about this piece is the sentinel. your eye just gravitates to him.

here's a shot with a coke can for scale

hope you guys like it.

That's insane!
I can't believe the amount of control with the burning tool you have.
All of your work so far demonstrates you've nearly,( if not already) mastered this technique.
Bravo!

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
