I would guess pre-order this year and ship next year unless they are already in production. I would be pleasantly surprised if is shipping this year.
Thanks!

Perhaps JND may consider the following for the Platinum line.
-characters that require more silicone than others
-use more "premium" material(s) for non-silicone parts than they have used so far
-larger than usual characters so far (perhaps Darkseid)
-include more accessories or vehicle
I am just speculating.

I like in the video where he says the Platinum Line will use their finest grade of Silicone......erm, so what have you been using thus far? Bubble gum?
This is partly why I hate these marketing videos, they generate more questions than answers - and not comfortable questions either.

Queen studios opened the floodgates with this "premium line" BS. I'm sure it will be the trend going forward.
At least there was no mention here of additional subscription requirements.
In other news, hey, a JL WW in JND quality sounds pretty rad. Just not looking forward to premium pricing that's more premium than the premium.

I thought exactly the same. It makes their previous releases sound second rate

"For us, the effort required to produce will be, like, 50% higher."
Mera was $2100. He's basically saying this upcoming WW is going to run around $3K (or if you are getting it from a place like Spec, probably around $3500-$3600).

Here's the video that's being mentioned, in case anyone's having trouble finding it or can't be bothered.

Will probably see a lot of the Golden Armor JND's going up for sale so they can use the money for this instead. Maybe the prices people are asking for the Golden Armor will drop as well.

At that price, I wouldn't even entertain the idea of buying. Their current prices are definitely my borderline. Add to the fact, I'm not convinced that silicone is even required at this scale.
I hate to say it, but when I see what companies like Queen Studios are able to do (in production) with Polystone - I'm thinking, "if it ain't broke....." - if using silicone does nothing but reduce the life of my (expensive) statue....like, what's the point?
