Lighting for Display Cabinets

Fellas, would like to get great interior lighting (plug in electiric) to go into these old Ikea display cabinets.

The hole at the top is about 2 inches in diameter.

Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If you happen to know model numbers and links for purchasing, please let me know.

Thanks!
Dave

Look out for #1. Don't step in #2 either.

I use these

http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/30180778/

in my PAX and my Bestas. They work great and are LED so not a lot of heat created. I know IKEA is coming out with a new model so you might be able to either get some cheap or wait til the new model comes out.

If you saw a heat wave, would you wave back?

I second Lawnknome. Those lights are great. I have them in my setups as well. However, if you do not have shelves or are trying to light from top to bottom in that you should find a nice LED disc light with high LUMES rating to be able to reach the bottom well and light it all.

I third Lawnknome as well. I have those lights in my setup as well. They are also meant to be positioned towards the front of the cabinet and they shoot light at a nice angle.

Better view of the cabinets from the side to see the angle of the lighting.

If I'm not wrong those are Ikea Besta. I recently buy my first besta and it is perfect for displaying any kind of collection. Also added the same lighting.

That's what I thought, they just look bigger though.

No, they definitely look bigger. Best a was my initial guess, but just seeing how much these hold made me doubt it.

I suggest the IKEA STUVA at a minumum. They are deeper than the bestas and all besta accessories work on them.
