I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who see it differently....it doesn't look right to me.

Oh well...

Now, this is a nice comparison.

It doesn't look good at all from the front, from 3/4 it looks good but I don't think replicas should have only one good side.

Does it look that bad in person, or is the camera angle exaggerating it somewhat?

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

The camera angle does make it look worse than it appears in person, but it's still a lot longer in the face than it should be.

If the price for this thing weren't so high, I would be tempted to get one and use some kind of expander to push the sides of the helmet outward.

I wonder if that would correct some of the problems that we are seeing.

For example..
-The sides would be more in-line with the movie likeness.
-The eye holes may take more of an appropriate likeness also, with the lateral edges seeming larger than the medial fringe.
-The brow could take on more of a curve.
-The "snout", for lack of a better name, would flatten a bit.
-The top of the helmet would flatten a tad, narrowing that wide crevice at the top.
-The mouth (at least the anterior portion) would come closer in approximation, although the side spacing would still be an issue.

Maybe someday we will see someone take the chance, but at +400$ nobody will want to "bend" it just yet.
