I received my mask today, which I wanted to cancel but couldn't because I went for flexpay and didn't want to loose money for canceling so late. It was delivered to my parents house, which I called into briefly whilst passing through town. To be honest, when I opened it, I wasn't as disgusted as I thought I was going to be! Some of the pics I had seen in the last few weeks have done this piece more of an injustice than it deserves. It may be well off the mark compared to the movie but I still think it is quite cool. I believe if Joe the plumber saw this in a shop window as he was passing, and hadn't seen any of the pics, or read any of the forums, he'd think it was cool too. PLUS i can get it to fit on my head (bear in mind i'm only 5' 8" and slim build and it sliced off both my ears a la Mark "Chopper" Read, but, I got it on!) I will post some pics asap.
The thing I wanted to ask you guys was this. I seem to have received number 01 of 250!! How significant is this? It is written on the printed picture box sleeve, but because my inspection was so brief, I couldn't find it written on the actual mask or stand!?!
On a MASSIVE upside to my day, my CM Preddy also arrived the same day but I hadn't time to open it so I will make the trek back to my parents tomorrow with my baby girl so granny can see baby and daddy can unwrap his new "baby" mwah ha haa!!!
