They probably aren't resin either. Most likely plastic or pvc. And remember 10in is about the size of a Kotobukiya bishujo which are a tad smaller then 1/6th.

I still don't like the idea of these coming out without them coming from PTZ. I imagine this was some sort of deal Erick worked out to generate more revenue, but still.

For that price, there's no way they are resin. definitely some sort of cheap plastic.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

whether the size is the same or not its not going to beat a paint job done by an individual it does look cheap which makes me think its not resin by any means.

as far as capcom taking over the license i think they just doing ryu as an anniversary kind of thing. highly doubt we will be seeing sagat, ken or blanka.

The base is just the reused one from the Mega Man statue from last year. They just put the Street Fighter logo on it.

I don't think Mega Man is plastic though.

Honestly there are only a few more pieces in this line I'm looking to get anyway. I probably won't get the 1/4 Ryu. I still prefer the current one. Looking forward to seeing the 1/4 Chun Li and 1/4 Cammy once the 1/6 is released. That will probably be it for me.

I'm only interested in the 1/6 line. I will buy the 1/4 iconic Ryu, but that's it. 1/6 I want to get every character though.

I am only interested in the 1/6 line, but only if the figures come out right. Considering the total cost for each statue, I want nothing less than perfection (Sagat & Ryu was spot-on, money well spent).

Haven't seen anything on Cammy in forever, really excited to see the final product. Can't remember if she was approved or not.

agreed i was going to pass on blanka and ken but after looking at multiple videos i'm strongly considering them. Akuma will be crazy. bison will probably be the only character i double dip on.

Not sure how I feel about Ryu being released by Capcom for $100, fully painted, with LED's. I kinda wanted my Ryu kit to be special.

Buuuuuuuuut .....

Mine isn't assembled or painted, so I purchased the regular Ryu from Capcom

I have the light up Dark Void statue from Capcom, which was under $100. & I don't think that was made from cheap plastic. Has some weight to it, so it might be resin actually. Maybe these Ryu statues will be as well. At $100, I don't mind seeing how it turns out.

What does that mean for the PrototypeZ line?

Are they all going to end up like this?
