I believe the PS3 version was noticeably blurrier and performed worse than the X360 version, at least that was what many reviewers/players reported at the time. I personally bought a X360 just to play Bayonetta back then haha (although ended up also vastly enjoying Mass effect 1-3, Gears of war 1-3, Alan Wake, etc) I didn't try the PC edition that came out years later, but I heard it is a good port.
Thinking back, it was extremely strange for Bayonetta to even release on the X360, let alone be the superior version, considering Platinum Games is a Japanese company and X360 had a very small install base in Japan itself. Oh the mysteries of videogame development......
PS. I really like Bayonetta's training/student outfit during her flashback scene in Bayonetta 1, too bad no companies think to make a figure for that design :/
