HCG Predator jungle hunter 1/4 statue
Soon the hunt will begin?
Standing a very impressive 36? tall, this intricately detailed statue meticulously captures every aspect of the Jungle Hunter, with a dynamic pose that embodies the true essence of the Predator in his jungle environment.
This is the HCG Exclusive edition, it comes complete with an additional switch out head with Bio-Helmet, and an additional switch out hand holding Billy?s bloodied spinal column, for more display options.
This intricately detailed, Museum Quality statue is expertly crafted from heavyweight polystone, then hand finished and individually hand painted to capture the smallest detail.
Offered as a strictly Limited Edition of 150 individually numbered pieces worldwide, this stunning Predator statue would make a magnificent centerpiece for any Predator collection!

Is this a joke or is that real? Looks like a bad sideshow piece from 20 years ago.

The good:
Paint is surprisingly nice, I'd be pleased with this on a 1/4. Maybe that's where the edition size comes into play.
Body proportions are good too, a more slender take on the character, but we do see that in several behind-the-scenes photos.
The sculpt of everything below the belt looks great IMO.
The needs work:
The sculpt of everything above the belt - the chest and shoulder armor, the trophies, the necklace strings, the helmet, and the face. Would be nice if the dreads were thinned a bit and separated.
This could be a seriously nice piece and even dethrone one or two existing Jungle Hunters out there, but only if the upper body gets an overhaul.

Sorry to say this, but this might be the worst Predator statue I've ever seen released by a company. This thing is either going to get cancelled or completely reworked. I like the idea of the pose, but even that isn't executed well. Yikes.

It'll get released. HCG operates in its own lane.

Unless that lane costs like $400 they aren't getting any takers.

Tbh this is not so bad. i agree with blade.
The dreads should be thinner and a bit more of them. But that is a nice 1:4 portrait.
The accessories and shoulder canon are bit crude.
But rest of it has nice details. Paintjob is nice, but when factory does not duplicate this will become like Sideshows old 1:5 line.
My biggest gripe is the foot on the ground vibe. Like, He guys look at me i am going to climb this tree.
A long detailed tree trunk, that you could hang at the wall at which the pred was hanging itself. That would be my new 1:4 choice / something else imo.
