Why do the Yankees suck?

Just thought I would ask, and maybe have some good baseball talk...

I hate Yankees, but the season is not over yet.

If any wretched team can come back from 14+ games out, it's them

I don't know why, but I hope it continues.

My best theory is the curse of A-rod!

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

this is what i keep hearing for non-yankee fans. but looking at the team, they are A LOT younger then people think.

in baseball terms, i'd say under 24 is a prospect, 25 to 30 as prime years, and 35+ as declining years. anything in between is subjective. here's the a roster including the DLs

Robinson Cano -24-
Melky Cabrera -22-
Josh Phelps -29-
Wil Nieves -29-
Jose Veras DL -26-
Phil Hughes DL -20-
Humberto Sanchez DL -24-
Matt DeSalvo -26-
Jeff Karstens DL -24-
Tyler Clippard -22-
Darrell Rasner DL -26-
Brian Bruney -25-
Chien-Ming Wang -27-

Scott Proctor -30-
Carl Pavano DL -31
Andy Pettitte -34-
Kyle Farnsworth -31-
Luis Vizcaino -32-
Alex Rodriguez -31-
Derek Jeter -32-
Miguel Cairo -33-
Doug Mientkiewicz -32-
Johnny Damon -33-
Bobby Abreu -33-
Hideki Matsui -32-

Jorge Posada -35-
Ron Villone -37-
Jason Giambi -36-
Mike Mussina -38-
Mike Myers -37-
Mariano Rivera -37-

Shows how much of baseball you people know. There are 162 games in a season.Just because they are 14 1/2 games back doesnt mean they wont make it to the playoffs.Hell they can lose another 15 and still make it.Remember folks the true season of baseball starts after the All star break.Yanks have come back from worst and I have no doubt that they will be in the playoffs again this year.

Nah, A-Rod is kind of cursed. Remember when he was with the Mariners? That team had Griffey, Arod, that other slugger who's name I forget. Geez.

There's a reason he's been on three clubs (though salary might have something to do with it).
