Got involved in a Dave Perillo commission group. Getting a GOT piece done that's 24"x36". Crazy size for a Perillo. Hope he gets the Last Crusade done soon.

I was hoping to pick up a piece from Greg Simkins show but it seems the piece I really wanted is up up up and way outta my price range atm. Might pick up a different piece thats more affordable as I really dig his work.

I've always been curious how much does it roughly cost for a small group to commission a print.

I don't have a solution but I admire the problem.

depends on the artist and how many people. For a reference i'm in one with a new artist, 24x36 cost me $85, ed of 50 i think.

So it could go slightly down or way up depending on many factors.

Looks like Drake was working on an Elektra print for Mondo that nobody wants, which explains why his HCG mystery prints are still a mystery.

I think most people here passed because of the paper quality (even though it was still a great deal).

I picked up the Alien print when it first became available. The imagery is very nice, but the paper is the equivalent of the mini posters they give away at the theater.
