All 3 editions are now sold out. That was fast considering the sizes, but then again, it's an amazing piece. Congrats to any one who got in on it.

Thats strange. An hour before your post there was 37 woods left in stock. I bet they cut the edition size down on some.

They fixed it. When I tracked inventory this morning they were all saying sold out, but now 191 Reg and 37 wood. Only thing truly sold out is Var.

I can safely say without question this will be the definitive Rambo.
I'm partial to Ken Taylor's first blood. That will always strike me as the definitive version. I think he captured the likeness quite a bit better.

Sculptor Erick Sosa had designed this Spider-Man statue for Kotobukiya few years ago. And he posted the following earlier on the FB page of Hero Complex Gallery.

Erick Sosa: "Dear Hero Complex, the spiderman featured here ( link attached) and credited to John Aslarona, is my art work and it was done as a commission by a Japanese company that happens to own the Marvel License. All Mr. Aslarona did was retouch the image of my sculpture and mirror it...
Please look into this as it could create some legal issues."

Here is a comparison shot that makes it easier to highlight the similarities. I mirrored the image, shrunk it a little and converted to greyscale. The eyes, position of the arms have been modified and few other details have been retouched, but the overall whole body pose including some of the crease lines are directly taken from the statue image.

John Aslarona's piece is cool and most wouldn't mind if the art was based on the prior comics or movies, but when it's directly taken off from another artist's new creation it won't bode well with many.
