I don't understand why they don't use the payment plan and just order when the discount is going on. I would not have ordered a couple items if it weren't for the discounts/plans myself. I for one appreciate the preorder discount window, 30 days is long enough when you knew the product was coming in advance.

I think there was some confusion, it was not that they don't want the discount, they just want to be able to "lock in" the discount and not have to pay right away I think. Similar to how some of their early items were setup where you could order with a NRD and not pay monthly and only when the item actually ships.

Actually it hurts more in the long run if you pay CC fees on that amount for an extra 6 mo/year+.
