Defiance is pretty fun, plenty of room for improvement, but it's fun

+1

I didn't see the appeal in it that a good portion of reviewers seemed to have. Granted I only got a few hours in, but the gameplay seemed a step.. backwards?

I was worried about it at first but I thought the first person stealth stuff worked great, but you can't really go in for a straight up fight, Corvo is too weak for that. sure you can time your sword strikes well enough but the man can't take a hit, the game is meant to be played sneaky, so satisfying to clear out an entire room without anybody knowing you were ever there

Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations?

I hope that since the show got approved for a 2nd season (prior to the first even showing) that the game will have some legs on it as well since they tie into each other

I could see this as being the "test-MMO" for consoles as we slowly march towards next-gen

Still grinding away in Defiance...

ended up finishing Dust: An Elysian Tail (XBLA) as well as ran through Dead Space 2's "Severed" DLC pack

not sure which game I'll go to next...might just start up a few random DLC's that I've picked up on sale over the past few months

Decided to start up Spec Ops: The Line

made it roughly half-way through the game tonight. Its a standard third-person-shooter but it has an excellent dark and twisted story. Very reminiscent of Apocalypse Now (movie)

Should be a hell of a story conclusion to this one when its all said and done

I have Resident Evil 6 to finish, Orange Box finally to pull out, Portal 2 Co-op to complete, and DC Injustice Gods Among Us sitting on the shelf, but when I finished Bioshock Infinite, I just put it straight back in and started it on 1999 mode.

It's too good to put down at the moment.

found a game called Prison Architect. Its a great management sim that is still in pre-release form. These games get addicting fast and become great time wasters.

$30 in cost but you get all future updates for that price (like how Minecraft worked)

http://www.introversion.co.uk/prisonarchitect/

you can also check out Giant Bomb's quick look of it for some laughs: http://www.giantbomb.com/videos/quic...ect/2300-7367/

also just started up Assassin's Creed III as well...still trucking along in Defiance too

longest stint in years I've gone without COD. been jamming on Tiger '14 lately and busted out NBA JAM that I've been playing with my kids. trying to beat the game with a team from each division (i think theres an achievement).
