Almost bought it until I read the reviews. Criterion's DVD is awesome.

With the Upgrade and Save program going on this for the next 17 days at Best Buy (bring any legit DVD with the exception of porn), and they will take it and give you a $5 coupon for any blu-ray $9.99 and up, making the MI-4 BB exclusive, $14.99. Did that today, and will just return it on the prior receipt from last week, since they can be a pain in the a$$ on price adjustments. Fifteen bones for this one is a fab deal.

Also picked up MI3 for $5, To Catch a Thief for $10, and Spartacus for $5 using the same program. Nothing like getting rid of some unwanted DVD's and getting some great Blus at a great price!

Thanks for reminding me of the Upgrade and Save program going on. I have a couple DVDs left from the purge a year or so ago that I was planning on dumping this time around for some BD savings. Wish I would have remembered last week when I picked up the BB exclusive MI:GP and Airplane. Oh well, I'm sure there are other titles I can capitalize on.

$5.00 per used DVD is a pretty good deal. Most sell for a lot less then that on Half.com.

has anybody from the U.K participated in a program in trading there DVDs (Region 1) for Blu-Rays, or is it only for citizens in US?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Amazon deal of the day for the 4th is - Star Wars: The Complete Saga for $78.99

The rest of the goldbox deals are Star Wars related as well but it's unlikely most of them will be blu-ray stuff.
