I definitely vote for the gold on the left.
Maybe be difficult to achieve in Mixed Media.

I would buy at least the Reg EX and that Alt Ex. Likely all 3 if those 3.
For me so far Mixed Media has been limited to totally unique or otherworldly characters or representations, i.e. both Dhalsims, both Oros, Gouken Pilgrim, and Kabuki Honda.

Both alts are cool, but I'd prefer the battle damage - with either level 1 or 2 damage level. Maybe you could get away with using some fluorescent paint for the damaged sections, but ideally Oni would be cast in translucent purple resin, and painted over except for the damage. The paint, like his skin, is just a "shell".
