Really I can't tell the differences from these pics. The fake looks just as good as the real one to new collectors. I have one of these real mags and I still can't see the differences. Sometimes the lighting and how clear the camera is can distort pics as well.

I dont think recasting will go away. As long as a recaster gets a hold off a statue, its game over.

That's good to know. I would think it would be harder to do. Maybe if XM incorporate mix material clothing into there statues that it would be harder to recast?

No Mix Media

When you have a very successful statue like Magneto there just going to copy it no matter what because of the demand, even if it had mix media on it, they would still copy it...

Bottom Line is it will look cheaper due to bad paint applications, defects in the molding, and possible leaning issues as I'm sure the engineering won't be up to XM standards.

Isn't recasting illegal? It's copying a copyrighted property of a company. People you participate in any part of that process - production or purchase of such work are doing a disservice to all legit companies.
