I think it also justifies price tag. If I wasn't getting bang for my buck there is no way I'd buy . I can only buy few 1/4s a year I limited myself to certain characters only ( Namor, Spiderman ) so I could stay in the game so to speak. Majority of my collection 1/6 scale it's all I can afford

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Problem with Aquaman now is it's highly unlikely you'd get anything that looked like Namors base. Thrones have been done I just don't know what you could do that tops Namors scuplt. It's got it all an imposing octopus chariot with an aggressive posed Namor. In person this thing must be huge as well which adds that much more. Aquaman got to movies first but he took Namors look big time with dark long hair ( Jae Lee style ). We got the statue of statues for Water monarchs. Yeeeeeeaaaa

I love XM and their elaborate and big bases. If I wanted simple and boring bases, then I'd go with Sideshow or PopCultureShock. I hope XM continues on the path that they're going. We're in the golden age of statue collecting and I want the complete set up. Some of these statues from XM will be my only one for certain characters, so I want them to be maxed out.

The XM bases are a big part of why I buy from them. Adds a story with some and others it gives the feeling of it coming to life. Not a fan of simple poses with little to no creative base, very basic and boring.

The size of the base only becomes an issue for me because it means a hefty shipping fee. Otherwise, I'm cool with elaborate bases.
