View Poll Results: XM and Prime-1 bases getting too big?

Yes- I think the bases are getting too big. I'm running out of space.

No- don't mess with it. Who needs space. Just sell a damn statue to so you can buy more.

It depends on the statue.
I think for example that Berserk Guts from Prime1 has a too much huge base, with too much things in it, weird medley of Berserk creatures... Also Magadalena XM has a too much huge base with that angel statue behind it. It distracts..from the statue...

SS's Wonder Woman has way more base than is necessary.

The XM Electro is the perfect middle ground for me.

I agree 100%. The electro is perfect whereas the XM Spiderman is more about the base than the character IMO...

This way you can cater for both types of customer without adding too much to the overall cost of the statue. Of course, it wouldn't work for all statues (e.g. Ghost Rider) or where the pose requires most of the real estate.
F4F have taken this approach but have different variants of the statue with different bases. Since XM don't have exclusives, would be nice to have an all-in-one package where it makes sense.

That's actually a good idea. More than once I have found myself thinking "if I got this statue I'd try and have a simple disc base custom-made for it", just because the base it came with was huge or plain ugly.

Yes. We went from 1/6 to 1/5 to 1/4 to 1/3.
Now the bases on the 1/4 and 1/3 are ginormous! They look fantastic but they're space killers and back breakers. It's getting to be too much afaic.

That's one thing that is holding me back with Namor. I want it but don't care for the ginormous Octopus base. The Optimus prime is another. I'd preorder it but not liking the size of the base. I really want Prime 1 Shockwave but the base is just too big. Shipping is going to be a killer.

I'm an equal opportunity statue and base collector, but if it ever gets to the point where I can't lift the base by myself, then we have problems.

I declined to vote.
Honestly I don't care, however I feel it should fit the character and theme.
To date, I think XM has got it more right than wrong. With P1... well, what's with those disks they try to put everything on?
