legend says it was Temple of Doom and Gremlins that really forced their creation.

There is nudity, violence, stabbings, winged creatures eating the flesh of humans, burnt bodies on poles, half naked mystics - crazy!

Yeah I remember watching that on Showtime, there was a human sacrifice of a kid as well if I remember right.

Yep, that is there. And (spoiler alert) there was almost another until Beastmaster used his animal telepathy to have the hawk grab the second kid before she fell in the fire.
As someone else mentioned, I think Temple of Doom was the primary instigator for the creation of PG-13.

Batman: Soul of the Dragon 2021 new animated film...8/10 less focus on Batman and more so on Richard Dragon, Shiva and the Bronze Tiger. Taking place in Batman's early stages of his career, what looks like the 70s, he's not quite the dominant or decisive fighter we see today, his skills actually take a back seat to the other 3 characters.

Coco - 9/10. I had yet to see this Pixar film but heard good things. It was a fun, creative film.

Venom 5/10 (the first 40 minutes are a snore fest but it does pick up towards the end - still, an average movie at best IMO)
