Monika Toys Mega Man Classic Series Statues

Hey gang Monika Toys will be releasing licensed Mega Man classic robot masters. They were revealed last December and are about ready to be released. Shooting for end of November. I have been in contact with them over the year and they've been very accommodating with help and answers. They have a Hong Kong distributor that will ship to non Asia territories. If anyone is interested or has questions you can contact their sales department. Here's some pictures over the year and some pictures I just received from their factory. These are resin, each will sell for $135 and won't be space hogs. If these sell well they plan on doing more and not just from Mega Man 2.

Crash Man 20cm x 19cm x 25cm
Air man 24cm x 18cm x 20cm
Metal Man 25cm x 23cm x 20cm

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

These are really cool! I’m pleased to see they started with Mega Man 2, since the majority of companies start with 1, and there seems to be too much product of it and not as much of the other games.

My only worry with Mega Man collectibles though is I’m always wary of starting a collection of them and not getting all the robot masters from a particular game. I love what I’m seeing here, but seeing all 8 masters would make it an instant sale for me. Only 3 worries me that they might not get to all 8, but then not supporting them would make me part of the problem of why they wouldn’t be able to go ahead with all 8.

I know it’s unreasonable for them to prototype 8 statues up front though. I would really hope they can do all 8 from Mega Man 2, since it’s my favourite game! That would make an awesome display!

Hey gang. Got my three Robot Masters on Friday. Monika Toys is a new company that are focusing exclusively on licensed Mega Man Robot Master statues. They plan on doing more if this first wave sells well and there is interest for more. I have no complaints in any aspect of their service. All three came perfect. Like Queen Studios, etc. the license is restricted to Asia territories. It is quite easy to get ahold of these if you live elsewhere. You can contact Monika Toys directly through sales and they will put you through to Seng at Topflyzs who is their non-Asia territory seller. Think of a Todd from SF. All three statues and DHL shipping cost around $400. Topflyzs are very flexible with payment and shipping options. I've been in constant communication with both. The pieces individually are cheaper than some figures on the market nowadays.

All three statues feel like little paperweights. If you cut a F4F piece in half you would get one of these little guys. There is weight to them. PVC is only used on Air Man's vortex, Crash Man's explosion and Metal Man's blades. Paint is top notch and as a starter company has come out cleaner/better than some companies I've dealt with that have more years on them. Almost every piece has magnets. Crash Man's pipes have pegs and Metal Man's left hand blade rests. The right one he's throwing has a magnet. Everything comes in a very secure foam insert, color box and brown shipper. They wanted to go green and went XM's route for instructions. I'll leave the videos below. If you are concerned about space you can see them in the last picture sitting snug on my fireplace mantle.

I'm glad to see a company take on a well known license and provide pieces that aren't normally touched on. Speaking to them over the year I can feel the love they put into them. They have been humbled by the experience of getting off the ground and dealing with manufacturing costs and delays due to Covid. These were revealed late 2019 and are now in my hands New Year 2021. A year in-hand isn't to shabby. If anyone has questions on the pieces or ordering help by all means ask or send a PM.

Looks like they came out great! I REALLY hope they do well for them and they’re able to get to all 8 from MM2. They’re very tempting...

I hope so too. I'll contact them in the spring to see if they got the greenlight on any others. Keep in mind the way they explained it to me is they may jump to another Mega Man next. So you may see three statues from 3, then 5 then come back to 2. They never explicitly said they would finish out 2 then move onto another game. I think if they had the budget and Capcom's blessing they'd release every MM from 1-11 & MM&B at least that's what I gathered from our conversations.

Cool, thanks for the info! I'd personally hope they'd finish 2 first, but I can see jumping around. My worry would be that they don't finish one of the games though, but if they could get to all of them that would be amazing!

On a good note, I’ve got a friend/groupie that follows my auctions on Ebay that lives in my state. He wants these so I contacted Topflyzs to import them for him. I was able to get him a set but was told they’re just about out of the stock with their international stock. So fingers crossed.

I forgot to mention the ES on these is 600.

Hi,

I also got the two statues Metal man and Air man on the same date.
These look great and as mentioned by Eternalblue02 they look awesome! They have some weight to them and the paint is done nicely. I already ordered Crash Man and will be send soon by the them. Monika Toys just started and they already created some nice resin statues of Robot masters that deserve more love.
Hopefully these sell well for them to continue with the line or other RM’s in the classic series.
