That being said, I'm a bigger fan of the museum pose Thor.
this one

The museum piece, which is what that one is, is totally worth it.

The change-o-head I refer to is the first Thor full-size statue. The head could swap out from a clean-shaven Thor in his classic helmet to a bearded Thor in a more Silver-Age style helmet. It's pretty cool, but I prefer the museum pose.

Afternoon, Inky!

Afternoon, Inky!
well, good. i love Simonson's 80s Thor & Coipel's new Thor. he's such a GRAND Marvel figure, and i'm dead-bored, so that overcame my prejudice against big-hero sculpts & his Christian Bale-thinking-"Who farted?" expression. plus, this seemed relatively cheap for this statue. i hope 70s Captain Marvel eventually goes down, too.

i ordered Medusa, Marvel Girl, & the white Storm, and just ebayed Elektra (i'm repeating myself for conversation's sake); i'll get the Northstar & Aurora busts from my lcs when i see them. i'll almost definitely get Jim Lee Jean, Angel, Archangel & i'm really eager to see how Daredevil develops; still iffy on Quicksilver, Falcon, Black Knight, & either or the Iron Men. Where's Ms. Marvel???

god, i hope there are some surprises, too, coming up. RB said that MIA pieces are on hold till the extension is granted, so what does that mean for Wasp, Mystique, Psylocke, Valkyrie, Emma Frost, Enchantress, Black Cat, Brother Voodoo, Son of Satan, Satanna . . .

have you all read the New Avengers: SI where they show Elektra getting Skrulled? she's bad-ass. i'd never really been a devoted Daredevil reader, so i don't have history w/ her. the statue looks really graceful. i'll put her on the shelf w/ Black Widow, since their bases match.

I'm a regular reader of New Avengers, and remember that issue! It was great. I didn't get the FS, though. We're kind of picky about which FS pieces we pick up. (No villains, no matter how cool, other than Magneto.)

And I'm concerned, too! I really want the Valkyrie FS! (Psylocke you know my feelings on.) It would suck not to get the Wasp, either.
