I love craigslist!
I was reading some message boards about craigslist on here and decided to check out my local listings. I found one that said freddy vs jason. I emailed the person to ask if it was the big premium format ones or the smaller figure like ones. She replied with yeah its the big ones. So I asked how much do you want for them? she said $110 for both jason and freddy (thats like $55 a piece!!) Well I was still thinking to myself maybe she made a mistake and when I get there she will show me something differnt. Well it was the sideshow premium format of both Jason and Freddy in their original boxes. I asked where did you get these and she said her bf worked on the set of this movie that was filming in philly. It was called the answer man starring jeff daniels. The statues were used as props in the movie because one of the characters is a big horror fan. Well not only did I get two awesome statues but the fact they were in a movie was a complete bonus! (theres even a piece of paper attached to the box with a bunch of numbers on it, I think it was a prop number or something)Anyways I just thought to myself wow I just hit the jackpot! I was just happy that I got the two statues for a good price but knowing that they were also props in a movie made me estatic!
