Yeah I just got lucky....normally theres a million of people selling comic books (normally ones from the 90's or comics like heathcliff or casper...lol) but never statues...

I think I benefit from living in the Boston area where there are alot of graduate students and people that move here and leave because of work.

I was worried about that too...if you are worried just ask to meet in a public place or find out if they accept paypal and just ship the item for them (without the ebay fees)

Criaglist rocks. I haven't found any collectible stuff there (though I haven't really tried...), but my wife and I got a high-quality danish modern coffee and end tables set, and a full 1920s Waterfall bedroom set (queen sleighbed frame, chest of drawers, bureau, side table), each for $200...all in great condition, and FAR less than newer, less well-made stuff offered these days.

It also saved us a few hundred bucks on moving boxes when we moved last summer.
