What exactly is the attraction to these naked girl on ape themes?
Are people getting in touch with their inner neanderthal or something?

Sounds as descent an explanation as any RS.

Personally I find the whole theme trite, cornball and childishly ridiculous and am getting thoroughly sick of the whole ludicrous, obscene, sexually suggestive, overdone cliche nonsense. Talk about cheap overkill by neanderthal wannabes. And why doesn't the loser who took those dumb shots get off his fat @ss and cut his lawn. If one could actually call moss interspersed with dandelions a lawn.

lol, ya those statues are just wrong.... I must order them

Actually the apes look good but the face on the girl lying on the back of the ape looks horrible.

Babe & Ape is also in my own collection. No 275/1000. Sorry for poor quality of picture.

When I received this statuette I been surprised because it's very heavy!! Sculpt and level of details are awesome. One of my favourites

I like Frank Cho's artwork, but I have yet to see an accurate translation of his art to statue form. The Jungle Girl edition came pretty close, but I think it's the face in this piece that holds it back from being an A+.

Face sculpt seems a bit off. Paint job on face is sloppy too. Lip paint too wide for instance.

Then you need to check C.S. Moore's Brandy. That statue is on another level.
