Reissue/ Rerelease Wishlist

Does Koto ever re-release their statues? One statue I really want is the Ms.Marvel Bishoujo that came out a while ago. It looks really sick, but the after market prices are outright criminal.

Sometimes. I don't think they're going to re-release Ms. Marvel though, I think they're going to make a Captain Marvel Bishoujo sometime in the future instead.

Does the Freddie & Jason bishoujos got a re-issue?
I got Jason when it was released and I think it's pretty expensive now...
I actually don't mind if her value would go back to normal. I'm actually happy for people who've been looking for her. This is their chance.

As much as I'd love to get re-releases of some older bishoujos and DRS stuff, I doubt that it would happen.

I know this topic gets rehashed many times, but with these types of statues (classic comic versions) I don't see why they wouldn't do this. ie keep open editions even if it were in less amounts.

That way new people getting into collecting would have a chance of getting them at retail price. Or collectors that missed them the first time have another chance at attaining them.

I have heard that toy companies destroy their molds, so this could be one reason re-releases do not happen.

But agreed I'd be up for some re-releases. I'd love to get DRS Psylocke and Gambit and Avengers Iron Man and Hawkeye.
I love team building but had to pick and choose my favorites at the time. I don't even look at secondary market prices unless they are retail prices.

I'd like a rerelease of the Jim Lee 1/7 scale Blue/grey Batman. I have the black/grey but would love to have the blue/grey in my collection. Or do a reissue and give it an 70's-80's vibe. Change the belt to the canister belt and the bat symbol to the yellow and black bat symbol.

How long have you been collecting?

These days, maybe sculptors are doing sculpts digitally. Destroying molds may not be an issue now.
They could re-issue stuffs easily.
