How to sculpt fists?
As title stated, I tried to sculpt a closed-hand/fist today and it looks more like a pile fo crap with some lines on it...
I have no problem doing fingers and hands as long as they're in open position but just realize how hard fist sculpting can be...
Hope some experts can provide some tips or tutorial.
Appreciate it!!

Try sculpting an open hand, then cut some notches at the knuckles. Roll up the fingers and do some finishing details.

Form a fist with your own hand.
Look at it.
Sculpt what you see.
I ain't being cute. That's it, no magic.

if you build armature with an open hand you should be able to transition the wire into the position that you desire, and then following mr. paquets reply use your own limb as a case study or a picture which ever you find easier. good luck!

Yup...that's how I do it.
Takes a little practice too.

Thanks folks, I started over and did the finger joints one by one and it turns out hundred times better than the previous one, all that left is some detailing and cover up the seams.
